Thanksgiving Holiday 2023

It has been about one year since I have made a new blog post to this website. I have been quite busy follow the events on both Wall Street and in Washington D.C. November, among many things, is National Blogger Month. I will attempt to make more time for writing and posting blogs to this website.

The Thanksgiving Holiday in the month of November has more meaning to me today than when I was a kid. Within the past ten years I have discovered I am a descendant of the Baptist Pilgrim Separatists of the Mayflower and 1620 Plymouth Plantation. I, also, found out I have distant ancestry of the Seneca Native American Peoples. It is to my understanding my Great Great Grandmother was a Seneca Native American tribal leader, making my grandfather a legal member of the Seneca Native American Tribe. Therefore, the month of November, and specifically the Thanksgiving Holiday, has taken on renewed interest and value for me, personally.

As I am examining and applying for various online graduate degree programs and scholarships, I try to remain focused on those aspects of my personal life. A person could easily do a graduate thesis dissertation on the English Baptist Separatist Pilgrims of the 17th century. My primary areas of research would be the Apocalypse, early Baptist Settlers to the New World, and the cultural significance of the Seneca Native Americans. Unfortunately, to date, I have not received any grant or scholarship offers for my online graduate research degree.

Nevertheless, the month of November now has new meaning and significance for me. As I await a grant or scholarship to do an online graduate degree program, I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving 2023, Merry Christmas 2023, and a Happy New Year 2024, and a Happy Holiday Season!
