Spring Break 2024


March is a very busy time of year for the capital markets, in politics, religion, farms, and construction. The month of March gets its name from Mars, the Greek-Roman god of war. Historically, this is the time of year when the military resumed their fighting campaigns after holding Winter camp. The month of March is, also, when many college students take Spring Break and return for mid-term exams.


For online college students the month of March is a time to change all those passwords, back-up all of your work for the semester, and do any quick system cleans or update installs that have been on hold since the New Year. It is extremely important to have a safe, stable Windows PC heading into mid-terms and the second half of the semester.


I am a Microsoft Certified Windows Programmer. Most of my PC work meets or exceeds U.S. Government/Military standards. Most of my professional IT work has been related to e-commerce and data science programming. In the past 20 years I have performed around 10 bare-bones PC builds and another 30 refurbished machines with significant upgrades. A true nightmare situation for online college students is your computer crashes half-way through the semester. In some cases it can take a month to get your computer back in good working order, and you are extremely lucky if there is not any data loss.


It is often said the only guarantees in life are death and taxes. However, most research studies have concluded there are real and lasting benefits in obtaining a formal college diploma. On average, a 4-year college Bachelor’s degree pays double that of a high-school diploma. Many professions require certain college courses or diplomas to practice in that respective profession. Additionally, online degrees and online certifications can help keep your resume’ current and competitive.


There is an online degree or online certification that addresses almost every major problem in today’s World. The real availability of online education has the potential to solve most problems in the World today, while at the same time creating real generational wealth. The average total cost for an on-campus 4-year Bachelor’s degree from a Private College is more than $150,000. By contrast, the average total cost for an online 4-year Bachelor’s degree is around $50,000.

 Memorial Day 2024 The Memorial Day 2024 holiday is a few days from now. It represents the unofficial start of Summer, schools release for the Summer Break, pools open for swimmers, and many people fire-up their grills for hot-dogs, cheeseburgers, barbecue chicken, and shrimp.
