The Memorial Day 2024 holiday is a few days from now. It represents the unofficial start of Summer, schools release for the Summer Break, pools open for swimmers, and many people fire-up their grills for hot-dogs, cheeseburgers, barbecue chicken, and shrimp. The Memorial Day Holiday, itself, commemorates military veterans who have died in battle while serving their country.


The U.S. Department of Defense spends more than $800 billion per year, and leads NATO, the most powerful military alliance on Earth. This is more than simply choosing between guns and butter. The $800 billion of military and defense spending could feed half the population of the United States for an entire year. Furthermore, after spending nearly $10 trillion on the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, the American people are no safer today than on the day of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.


The military leadership both at the Pentagon and at NATO have shown themselves to be among the most incompetent military leaders in the history of Western Civilization, wasting trillions of dollars on failed campaigns in the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and in Afghanistan. Today, Eastern Europe is embroiled in the largest military conflict since the Second World War, Afghanistan is entirely controlled by the Taliban and other terror organizations, and the Middle East is engulfed in a major conflict between the Israelis and the Palestinians. The military leaders at the Pentagon and NATO should publicly admit to their failures and incompetence and resign immediately. 


Just War Theory has long been a part of the more broader studies of Philosophy and Religion. It is now possible to obtain an online degree in Military Science, Strategic Defense Studies, and many other defense security related diplomas. With an online degree in Military Science you can now learn what the top military commanders know, all from the comfort of your own home. The days of the traditional military academies, such as West Point, VMI, and The Citadel are over. Five people could get their online degree in Military Science for the cost of one diploma at these traditional military academies. The traditional military service academies are a complete waste of time and money.


To conclude, the Goddess Athena is the virgin goddess of war, wisdom, and crafts. Athena of Mount Olympus is particularly known for strategy and cunning in warfare. The military leadership at the Pentagon and NATO should use that as an example and make way for a new generation of military leaders. Happy Memorial Day 2024.

Spring Break 2024

Spring Break 2024 March is a very busy time of year for the capital markets, in politics, religion, farms, and construction. The month of March gets its name from Mars, the Greek-Roman god of war. Historically, this is the time of year when the military resumed their fighting campaigns after holding Winter camp. The month of March is, also, when many college students take Spring Break and return for mid-term exams. For online college students the month of March is a time to change all those passwords, back-up all of your work for the semester, and do any quick system cleans or update installs that have been on hold since the New Year.
